GlobalAM Monath 24 General Assembly at Poltecnico di Milano

On December 4th and 5th, the GlobalAM consortium came together at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, for the Month 24 General Assembly – a key milestone to review project progress and align on the next steps. The meeting brought together partners from academia and industry to exchange insights and strengthen collaboration across the consortium. A sincere thank you to Politecnico di Milano for hosting this successful event.

The discussions highlighted significant advancements in LPBF-based additive manufacturing on dissimilar substrates, including robust deposition strategies and improved thermal management concepts for metal–ceramic interfaces. In addition, sustainability and efficiency aspects were intensively discussed, underlining their importance for future industrial implementation. The General Assembly provided a valuable platform to define clear action points aimed at transferring the project’s innovations into industrial applications.

With this meeting, GlobalAM once again demonstrated its strong commitment to scientific excellence, collaborative research, and the development of innovative solutions for next-generation manufacturing technologies.
