GlobalAM at ICRS 12 in Detroit
20-23/10/2025
Johanna Zeisberg from the University of Kassel represented GlobalAM at the 12th International Conference on Residual Stresses (ICRS 12), held in Detroit, USA. In her presentation, she shared recent project results on LPBF-based additive manufacturing of dissimilar materials and their impact on residual stress formation and control.
The talk provided valuable insights into the ongoing research within the GlobalAM consortium and emphasized the relevance of residual stress analysis for improving the performance and reliability of additively manufactured components. With a strong focus on scientific exchange and technological progress, the conference offered an excellent platform for discussing current research and engaging with experts from academia and industry.
By contributing to this event, GlobalAM once again demonstrated its commitment to advancing innovative solutions for next-generation manufacturing technologies.
