General Assembly Meeting

On June 17, 2026, the GlobalAM consortium gathered for its 5th General Assembly Meeting at the Universität Kassel.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to review project progress, align ongoing activities, and discuss the next steps towards advancing hybrid laser powder bed fusion for industrial applications.

Throughout the day, partners shared updates from their respective work packages, highlighting recent achievements in process development, materials research, simulation, in-situ monitoring, and sustainability assessments such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).

As the project now enters its final six months, the focus is on consolidating results and moving towards impactful outcomes for industrial implementation.
